Description

Lithium battery (lithium-thionyl or LiSOCl₂) brand SAFT - FRANCE, typically used in digital meters, where it offers very long periods of use.

The LS cell product range has been independently assessed and tested in accordance with the relevant parts of IEC 60079-0 and IEC 60079-11 in the IECEx system. This allows them to be considered for applications in hazardous locations and potentially explosive atmospheres. The electrolyte is non-flammable, they have excellent corrosion resistance and the magnetic signature is very low.

LS coil cells are specifically designed for long-term applications (5 to 20+ years), with a few μA base currents and periodic pulses, typically in the range of 5 - 150 mA.
