Description

Lithium battery (lithium-thionyl or LiSOCl₂) brand SAFT - FRANCE, commonly used in digital meters, where it offers a very long service life.

The LS cell product range has been independently assessed and tested in accordance with the relevant parts of IEC 60079-0 and IEC 60079-11 in the IECEx system. This allows them to be considered for applications in hazardous locations and potentially explosive atmospheres. The electrolyte is non-flammable, they have excellent corrosion resistance and the magnetic signature is very low.

LS coil cells are specifically designed for long-term applications (5 to 20+ years), with a few μA base currents and periodic pulses, typically in the range of 5 - 150 mA.
