Description

The LINKEx™ LX-400 LED temporary lighting lamp is ATEX certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The LED lamp is used in short-term lighting installations for maintenance tasks and is CE marked according to the ATEX Directive and IECEx certified for safe use in zones 1 and 2 with potentially explosive gas and dust atmospheres, where a temperature class T3/T4 (depending on the variant chosen) allows.

The LinkEx™ LED temporary emergency luminaire has all the features of the existing LX-400 LED temporary lighting product range - including the unique SOVI™ (Safe Optimal Voltage Indicator) system - and additionally offers increased safety by automatically switching to the rechargeable battery power source in the event of an interruption of the normal power source.

Operating with the built-in battery, the light will be emitted at a low level for 3 hours, allowing safe evacuation of the Hazardous Area.

The new LinkEx™ LED temporary emergency luminaire is certified and CE marked according to the ATEX Directive and IECEx certified for safe use in Zones 1 and 2 of potentially explosive gas and dust atmospheres, where a T4 temperature class allows.

Providing high quality ambient lighting, each unit utilises two High Power LED arrays, powered to provide a bright white light output, high reliability and low maintenance ‘fitted for life’. The lighting will be provided in a ‘180°’ format, with the LED arrays positioned side by side and providing efficient unidirectional lighting.

Lightweight, compact and robust, the luminaire has an impact-resistant finish (caps, tube and light diffusers with antistatic coatings). High visibility, chemical resistant, shock-absorbing release rings minimise the risk of damage if dropped.

An ATEX socket can be fitted to allow multiple similar lamps to be connected quickly and safely and thus positioned in a chain.

Available to be powered in HV 90-264V AC and LV 18-55V AC/DC (for use in enclosed, space applications such as metal tanks with a higher risk of electricity and shock). Wide input voltage ranges maximize use and safety for multiple string lights or long cables where the supply voltage may drop suddenly.

The unique SOVI (Safe Optimal Voltage Indicator) monitoring system clearly indicates when the supply voltage is operating outside the specified limits - the light will pulse weaker if the supply voltage is above the specified limit and brighter if it is below the specified limit.

Available in the emergency exit version, the luminaire positioned at exits, doors, escape routes, stairs and color intersections ensures evacuation safety, when necessary.
