Description

The Wolf ATEX 250VA transformer is CE marked according to the ATEX and IECEx Directives, offering a maximum power of 250VA in an ambient temperature of up to +55°C and is certified for use in Zones 1 and 2, Group II, Category 2, in environments with potentially explosive gases, vapors and mists, where temperature class T4 is permitted and Zones 21 and 22 potentially explosive dust where maximum surface temperatures of up to 130°C are permitted.

Operating from 230V or 110V to 24V and from 230V to 110V, the transformers are intended for use with a range of temporary portable lamps and auxiliary equipment for maintenance tasks.

As standard, the transformers are supplied with a 15-meter input cable fitted with an ATX plug and four ATX output sockets fitted to the case. The transformers are available in either GRP or stainless steel housing, sealed to IP66, allowing use in wet and dusty conditions. Additionally, a protective stainless steel exterior bracket makes the unit more durable and easier to handle for temporary installations, ensuring it can withstand the harshest environments.
