Primer Brunox 1-K Filler Spray 400ml

BRUNOX® 1-K FILLER® is the newest solution from Brunox Switzerland and is used as an intermediate primer layer - filler and primer - between the Brunox EPOXY layer and the final paint layer. The most common use is in auto bodywork-painting, vintage car restoration, wherever a long-lasting anti-rust treatment and then painting is desired. The main advantages of using the product are reduced paint consumption and much better quality of the final finish (pore-free).

BRUNOX products are recognized and recommended by Mercedes, Chrysler, BMW, Audi and Volkswagen, factories that use Brunox solutions in their production or machinery maintenance processes.

BRUNOX® 1-K-Filler is suitable as a primer or undercoat for metal surfaces. It can be coated with paints based on acrylic polymers, synthetic resins or nitrocellulose paint combinations.

In case of rusty surfaces, pre-treat with BRUNOX® Epoxy® Spray: Remove rust down to the porous layer. If the surface is not degreased, clean only with acetone; under no circumstances use silicone-based cleaners or nitrocellulose thinners. Remove rust particles using compressed air. Use BRUNOX® Epoxy® Spray to cover the entire surface. Spray for testing. Spray from a distance of approximately 25 cm. The porous rust is neutralized and its development will be stopped. Approximately one hour later, a shiny, satin black layer of BRUNOX® Epoxy® is formed. It should not yield under pressure. If necessary, scrape to level the layer. Use 400 grit sandpaper or 600 grit Scotchbrite to scrape the surface down to the treated layer of porous rust. Clean the surface with compressed air.

How to proceed using BRUNOX® 1-K-Filler:

Apply BRUNOX® 1-K-Filler to the entire surface. Shake the container for three minutes. Spray for testing. Spray distance is approximately 25 cm. Spray in thin layers. Fan after 20 minutes; touch dry after 30 minutes; smooth after 2 - 4 hours. If small depressions or porous areas are visible, level them by applying a thin layer several times and then sanding the surface. Use 400 grit sandpaper or 600 grit Scotchbrite to smooth the surface. Clean the surface with compressed air. BRUNOX® 1-K-Filler can be overcoated using acrylic paints, synthetic resins and nitrocellulose paints.
