An ODYSSEY® battery ingeniously uses TPPL's ​​unique Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) technology to deliver the performance of two separate batteries in one package. It delivers massive deep cycle performance (can be discharged over 60% more than any other battery), yet delivers exceptional starting power to beat any rival.

Traditional legacy (SLI) battery designs currently on the market either deep cycle to provide power for onboard loads or provide high amperage discharges for things like engine starting - they can't do both. That's why modern vehicles and cars struggle and fail. The ODYSSEY AGM-TPPL (99% pure lead) battery is the answer - a true dual-purpose battery!

This true dual-use battery delivers engine starting pulses of up to 2,700 A (625-DIN C-1500) for 5 seconds at 25°C and offers over 400 charge/discharge cycles to 80% depth of discharge (DOD) when properly charged! Truly exceptional performance!

The ODP-ACEDINC model comes equipped with the built-in ACE chip, with Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity (via the Connect® app) that allows monitoring of voltage, temperature, charge status and operating status history.
