Description

The LINKEx™ WF-300XL Floodlite LED is a high-performance, rugged, lightweight and portable ATEX LED floodlight projector for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. With its innovative and patented light engine, it delivers a remarkable level of white light and is fully compliant with the latest ATEX and IECEx standards, including OP IS - optical intrinsic safety.

Available in two versions (choose the desired version when ordering; price differs depending on the version), both with 10 meters of SY cable and ATX connectors:

18-50 V AC/DC (LV - low voltage) - 18-50 V power supply
90-264 V AC/DC (HV - high voltage) - power supply at 90-264 V. The HV variant can be interconnected in networks of up to 20 lamps, powered from a single source.

The WF-300®XL produces 6378 lumens of class-leading bright white light using a low power consumption of 55 (LV) / 62 (HV) watts. Shading is reduced with multiple light sources – two independent drivers and two independent LED panels of 18 LEDs, each LED having an encapsulated optic. This patented design offers a 33-degree beam angle for long distances and wide area illumination. The highly reliable LEDs are designed to provide a lifespan of over 100,000 hours, this being ensured by efficient heat dissipation through built-in fins and electronic thermal control.

The independent panel and driver system provides reliability and ensures that operators are never left in the dark. User safety is further enhanced with the unique Safe Optimal Voltage Indicator (SOVI) which alerts the user by pulsing the beam if the lights are running outside the certified and optimal voltage ranges, maximizing both safety and performance. Therefore, the user can connect multiple Floodlites safely, knowing that they are operating within the certified voltage range. In addition, both HV and LV Floodlites are certified safe down to 0 volts.

The WF-300®XL LED Floodlite is made from materials tested in the harshest environments and is ideal for hazardous areas. The housing is made of marine-grade aluminum; the lens is made of tempered glass, resistant to scratches, impacts and chemicals. Additional protection is provided by the frame which is constructed from 316 grade stainless steel and is capable of withstanding an 8 joule impact, four times more than the minimum requirements. The WF-300®XL is dust-tight and protected against water ingress with an IP66/67 certified housing.
