PowerSafe® Vb batteries are ventilated lead-acid batteries designed for industrial applications in power sources with high safety requirements. These unique cells are qualified for both types of discharges: short-duration high-current discharges and long-duration low-current discharges.

The main areas of use are DC power supply systems in power stations and substations, UPS systems, industrial systems and emergency power supply systems. They can also be used to start the engine and to store energy in solar systems. The special design of the PowerSafe Vb battery board offers a high level of energy density and a very long life in a unique design. This provides better performance and can minimize the space used for batteries. A rigid earthquake-resistant cell, together with PowerSafe Vb safety terminals make this a superior battery. A very long interval to fill the electrolyte level minimizes the required service.
