Car battery from the Varta Blue Dynamic EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) range - the range of the world's largest manufacturer designed specifically for vehicles with Start&Stop technology of the first generation, which do not have a braking energy recovery system (they do not have regenerative braking). They can also be used on vehicles that do not have start&stop technology, offering much superior performance compared to ordinary batteries (many more charge-discharge cycles, implicitly a much increased lifespan). They are ideal batteries for vehicles with many consumers and/or with a usage regime with many stops/starts (taxi, school, courier).

EFB technology

VARTA® offers Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) car batteries with superior reliability and performance compared to standard lead-acid batteries for automotive and commercial vehicle applications. Varta EFB batteries are created to meet the individual needs of customers and are manufactured in factories in Europe, for to comply with the highest quality standards.

EFB technology for cars

EFB batteries support applications that operate with partial charge and that do not require the characteristics for deep discharge cycles of an AGM battery. A synthetic wool woven material, added on the surface of the positive terminal, makes this possible. It helps stabilize the active material of the terminals, which increases endurance.

Warranty: 24 months, granted on the basis of the Warranty Certificate completed and stamped by the service and the copy of the invoice/receipt. Warranty claims are resolved directly by the seller or by one of the Foton/Varta authorized services. No warranty is given for other uses than as a starter battery for vehicles.

The price does NOT include installation or its verification. In order to benefit from the warranty, it is strictly necessary that the assembly be done in ANY car service, provided that it is authorized by RAR. The proof is made by completing and stamping the section "1. Verification of the electrical installation" on the Warranty Certificate by the Service.

 Warnings: DO NOT disassemble, do not short-circuit, do not throw in the trash. Hand over used batteries only at authorized collection centers or at the distributor.
