VARTA Auxiliary batteries provide flawless functionality of electrical components. Modern cars consume a significant amount of electricity. Therefore, these combustion engine cars are often equipped with two batteries: a regular 12-volt starter battery and an auxiliary battery.

So when it comes to replacing a weak or defective auxiliary battery, it is vital to rely on a high-performance replacement. In addition, it is important to always replace an AGM auxiliary battery with another AGM auxiliary battery to avoid the risk of damage.

Expected lifespan: The average lifespan is 3-4 years if the assembly and operating instructions are followed. However, it is normal for deep discharges to result in a drastic reduction in lifespan (e.g. if you forget the lights on, if you have a fault in the electric motor or alternator, if you use the battery for other purposes and subject it to repeated deep discharge cycles, etc., the lifespan can be considerably reduced without this causing a fault in the battery).
