The ATEX/IECEx Mini Worklite™ WL-50 LED floodlight from Wolf Safety Lamps UK, launched in 2020, is designed to provide a very good level of brightness at a low weight and with the possibility of easy recharging, so that it can be very useful for lighting remote and dark spaces in areas with a high risk of explosion.

At a weight of approx. 9kg, it weighs practically half of the WL-80 and WL-85 models, but offers the same brightness. Being CE certified and marked according to the ATEX Directive for safe use in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 for potentially explosive gas, vapour, mist and dust, where temperature class T4 allows.

The WL-50 rechargeable surface projector features an 18-LED lamp that delivers over 3100 lumens from a small and lightweight battery. It offers a beam or spot of light for long distances, but also a wide-angle light and "fringes" of light for close areas. The LED light source is designed to provide a life of over 100,000 hours.

Battery life is up to 5 hours on "high power" and up to 10 hours on "low power". In addition to the dual light output levels, the control circuit manages the switching function, battery level indicator and low battery cut-off, maintaining and protecting the battery against deep discharge and premature damage.
The powder-coated aluminum construction is designed to provide resistance in the harshest conditions of use and corrosion in the industrial field.
Mounted in a stainless steel stand, the battery and battery control circuitry are sealed within the enclosure providing IP66 and IP67 protection against dust and water ingress - virtually 'dustproof', the Worklite™ WL-50 is protected against strong jets of water and immersion up to a depth of 1 meter.
The stainless steel bracket provides additional protection and allows you to easily direct the light exactly where it is needed. The lamp can also be used on tripods or attached to flat metal surfaces with the magnet sets for complete flexibility in getting light exactly where you need it.
The lens is impact resistant, made of 6 mm toughened glass. If ever needed, the battery, electronics and LED can be replaced by a qualified technician.
