Description

Professional shunt tester from the Taiwanese company DHC® for testing 12V car batteries with starting current up to 1000A CCA, alternators and electric motors. The tester allows a fast discharge with a high current of 500A, having analog indicators and a large variator.

It is one of the best battery testers on the market at the moment, being used mainly to detect and diagnose defects in car batteries (elements in short), but it can also detect anomalies regarding charging parameters and battery consumption engine when starting.

Note: testing is only done on batteries with a minimum 75% charge (no-load voltage at the terminals ≥ 12.4 V). Batteries are NOT tested in a discharged state (the test would not be relevant and could result in a deeply discharged battery).
