Varta Blue Dynamic EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) Car Battery - Top range from the world's leading manufacturer specifically designed for first-generation Start&Stop technology vehicles that do not have a regenerative braking system (no regenerative brake). They can also be used on vehicles without Start&Stop technology, offering significantly improved performance compared to conventional batteries (many more charging-discharging cycles, and thus a significantly extended lifespan). Ideal batteries for vehicles with many consumers and/or with a regime of use with many stops/starts (taxi, school, courier).

EFB Technology

VARTA® offers Enhanced Flooded Battery (EFB) car batteries with improved reliability and performance compared to standard lead-acid batteries for automotive and commercial applications. Varta EFB batteries are designed to meet individual customer needs and are manufactured in European factories to meet the highest quality standards.

EFB Technology for Cars

EFB batteries support applications that operate with partial charging and do not require the deep discharge cycle characteristics of an AGM battery. Synthetic fleece material added to the positive terminal surface makes this possible. This helps stabilize the active material of the terminals, which increases durability.

Benefits include:

Over two times more partial charge-discharge cycles and twice as many deep discharge cycles compared to conventional batteries.
Supports a large number of engine starts and extended periods of inactivity.
Increased charging acceptance compared to conventional wet batteries.

The price does NOT include installation or its verification. In order to benefit from warranty, it is strictly necessary that the assembly be done in ANY car service, provided that it is authorized by RAR. The proof is made by completing and stamping the section "1. Verification of the electrical installation" on the Warranty Certificate by the Service.

Warnings: DO NOT disassemble, do not short - circuit, do not throw in the thrash. Hand over used batteries only at authorized collection centers or at the distributor.
